Sheri Alford started STSC with over 12 years experience in wedding coordinating and real estate. After moving her mother-in-law twice, she realized how she could use her expertise to help other seniors during a potentially overwhelming transition. Compassionate and smart, she looks to reduce the stress of this time. She is also available to speak to your group about "Downsizing & Decluttering." This humourous presentation presents a positive spin on what can be an overwhelming task.

Our goal is to provide the best possible coordination services to individuals and their families during a time of transition. We share and implement our expertise in the downsizing process with compassion and integrity. Clients are assisted in making their own choices about their surroundings, possessions and legacy. Each client shall receive personalized service, matching individuals' needs with the optimal appropriate resources. Thoroughly and efficiently, we remove the logistical headaches of a major transition, allowing joyful reflection and a positive outlook.
We also provide services for the dispersal of household belongings after the death of a loved one. A death in the family introduces a whole new set of responsibilities, from removing personal belongings to the complete shutdown of an established home site. Family responsibilities or distances can make these tasks even more difficult or overwhelming.
STSC can help make these tasks feasible and timely. Working under the direction of family members, attorneys or trust officers, we organize and distribute the estate according to your and your family member’s wishes. From simple sorting to arrangements for cleaning and repair work, taking the pressure off already trying times is as easy as a phone call.
Charges are based on hourly rates plus expenses. A deposit is required at time of contract. Frequently, items leftover in the home that are sold help with the costs of Smooth Transitions’ services. Call or email for more information or an appointment.
